Emergency Water Well DIY Water Well Kit
Drill your own water well with this Emergency Water Well DIY Water Well Kit. This kit will give you access to clean drinking water. This kit is used to make "large-bore" water wells that can accommodate a hand pump, a submersible electric pump, or both at the same time. You will need access to a local hardware store as you will need access to some additional materials and tools that are not included in the kit.

Water Well Auger Product Description:
- 7" Water Well Auger
- Solid Oak Handle
- 3/4" Removable handle to add additional pipe sections
Water well screen assembly Product Description:
- 4" PVC Water Well Screen
- 4" End Cap
Water Well Hand Pump Product Description:
- 3/4" Foot Valve
- Pump Piston
- Riser pipe sections for a total of down to 25 Feet
- 1 1/4" PVC housing so it can be installed alongside most existing submersible pumps. Can also be used as a standalone hand pump
Water Well Cap Product Description:
- 4" Well Cap designed to fit the Water Well Pump
- Eye bolt assembly for safety retrieval line anchor point

- Pipe Wrenches
- PVC Cement & Primer
- Rope or Parachute cord
Materials (NOT INCLUDED IN KIT):
- 2 bags of .5 cubic foot of Pea Gravel
- 1 bag of cement
- Drill Pipe (pipe sections will screw into the Water Well Auger to in increase well depth)
- 3/4" pipe (carbon steel or aluminum), four sections of 5 foot joints (for a 25' well)
- 3/4" pipe connectors (four of them)
- Well Casing
- 4" PVC Pipe (Schedule 40), two 10 foot sections (for a 25' well)
- 4" PVC connector collars (two of them)

What about hitting rock. How does this drill penetrate solid rock layers?
The auger works best in sandy or clay soil. It will drill through small rocks, but will not penetrate large rocks or bedrock formations.
