Can this be used in northern Idaho where it routinely freezes? If so, how would you do it? Also, can this be used where there is no separate (overflow) sewer connection?
Hi Josh,
The temperature of the Aqua2Use does need to remain above freezing. Some folks have created a warm insulated place for it and the discharge. The unit does come standard with a 3 way valve so come colder whether you can remove the pump, flip the valve to dump directly into the sewer and bypass the Aqua2Use entirely for the winter months. The Aqua2Use also does need to be hooked up to an overflow to avoid any mishaps. Typically it is hooked up to a sewer but I have seen people hook it up to a 55 gallon drum with success but that will require you to monitor that drum to ensure there’s no overflow from it. Hope this is helpful, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach back out. Thanks!
